Sunscreen: The Non-Negotiable Step in Every Routine
UV damage is the leading cause of premature ageing and pigmentation. We break down SPF, UVA/UVB, and how to make daily sunscreen a habit.
Up to 80% of visible skin ageing is caused by UV exposure. Daily sunscreen is the single most effective anti-ageing product you can use.
Choose a broad-spectrum formula that protects against both UVA (ageing) and UVB (burning) rays. SPF 30 is the minimum for daily use; SPF 50 is ideal if you spend time outdoors.
Apply sunscreen as the last step of your morning routine, 15 minutes before going outside. Use about half a teaspoon for face and neck, and reapply every two hours if you're in direct sun.
